My husband has the flu and has it bad. Waiting on word if he has blood in his stool. So I have been taking care of him and have gotten myself run down in the process. Plus we had our grandson for a week just before my husband got real sick and I was entertaining him. I have the head and chest congestion and this awful cough. Of course, this week is supposed to be my infusion week and I know that I will have to postpone it until I get better. I am exhausted! My question is this, how many of you get the flu shot every year? I think after this year, I will be the first in line for the next flu season. I hope you are all well and that you do not have to deal with this flu bug!
and, in the beginning, I got the Flu every year. Years back, I got Swine Flu. After the hospital released me, I had to be within twenty minutes of a hospital. So now, I get a flu shot every year without fail, and I get it early. I haven't had the Flu (knock on wood) since I left the school district and I'm on MTX and a Biologic. I hope you and your husband start feeling better soon. I hope someone makes you both a big pot of chicken soup.
