My UPS guy has seen a lot of things here over the years.  He's walked onto the screened back porch and nearly stepped on newborn lambs, goats, or turkey chicks.  He was once attacked by a feral peacock that had come to live with us for the summer (long story).  He's delivered tractor parts, 800 pounds of seed potatoes at once, and vials of parasitic wasps.  He's had hundreds of cups of coffee at my kitchen counter, and he's tested all the baked goods we do here for farm market.  I'm always glad to see him because he's a nice guy, and often he's delivering something that will solve a problem or kick off a cool new project.  But he has never, ever been hugged so thoroughly as he was ten minutes ago when he brought the Humira.  Ten and a half weeks, countless mixups, too many excuses and outright lies to count, prescription re-issued three times.  But it's finally here.  Tomorrow's injection day.  I'd do it tonight, but I'm giving a three hour workshop here this evening on dealing with farm stress.  Ha!  Won't even need to make notes for this one!
