I was doing SO well. Started Humira a few months ago, was working out and eating better finally feeling like myself again. Out of nowhere today, I wake up with crippling hand and wrist pain :( Couldn't even brush my hair this morning. What the heck.. back to square one.
Does anyone else examine every detail of the few days before your flare, to try and correlate what caused it? I worked a very long shift two days before (16 hr), and wasn't as strict on my diet as normal the day before, but really WHO KNOWS what could have brought it on.
I'm constantly searching for answers. sigh.

Now that I have allergy test results in my hand - it's pretty much all my own fault when I have a flare. Granted it still amazes me how quickly a mild allergy that I can get away with eating every few days - can morph into a major allergy and cause severe joint pain/swelling/IBS seemingly overnight!
Really gives you motivation to stick to a diet - doesn't it?
I'm hoping humira isn't failing me :(
What I always found really strange is whatever it was that I did - as little as a misstep or something like that, it would always start to affect me the 2nd day after any event like that - not the next day.
