yup. i was supposed to get some minimal tattoo work done tonight, but i'm being a 'responsible adult' and cancelled since i'm more sniffly today than i was yesterday.
which in and of itself is REALLY ANNOYING. this is day 16 of being sick and i'm really, really over it. i was sick for my birthday week. i mean, i still went out to eat and i still saw my family, but we kept it very low key because i wasn't feeling well. now tomorrow night we're going to see billy joel in manhattan and that was my birthday present from myself and my husband and i'm going to be right pissed if i'm still all sick and icky and sniffly for it.
on top of that, i'm mtx and biologic free for three weeks now. my rheumy said i could take my mtx with this infection, but i stopped since i was hoping to get tattooed. now that it's still lingering, i'm hesitant to start my mtx back up yet. and forget about starting humira.
it's very frustrating. i've been in moderate pain regularly even with the treatment i was on. now without mtx, my pain is a bit worse and it's that much more annoying. and that much more noticeable. hopefully i'll cure myself with the vegetarian french onion soup i'm making tonight.

It took me a long time with one of my upper respiratory infections.
Well over a month & the cough lingered.

i have not been tattooed while on a biologic and am not planning on it. my rheumy advised stoppping meds for one week before and one week after to get tattooed.
