Sorry .... I feel your pain. I asked that question for almost 4 years. I will say things became manageable (symptoms of RA), but honestly, sick 2 of every 7 days ..... and recovering the other 5???? I hope it is at Least helping some (?) .......

Ugggg why is right. Stuff is so nasty, but when I quit taking it, I go into a huge flare. Mtx is like men, you can't live with them, but you can't live without them. They make you nuts, but some times they help. =)

Sheila6 - either you are doing so well ("yeah right") and it does its job between dose time or sadly your body is adjusting.to it. You may need something else - as well or instead of.

Sigh - without drugs some of us would be hunched up cripples in heaps of pain and no guarantee we wouldnt have nasty disease sponsored side effects.

LOL...One of my evil joys is telling people that I take Chemo...

I am one of the few who are not made sick by MTX. And, if anything, I may sleep a little less with it. But then, all sleep meds (OTC) just make me hyper. Ambien made me crazy.

So we can tell people we are on "meth?" JOKING, JOKING, ONLY JOKING!!!! At least it is one of the cheaper evil medicines we take!
