I have had recurrent (maybe 3-5 times a day off and on for a week) little ant bite type pains in the same spot on my back. They are right over the spine at the height of where my arms connect (or bra strap to be precise). In fact the first day it happened, I thought my bra was stabbing me somehow.
I've been experiencing lower back pain and tingling in one foot. Neurologist said that was most likely from my RA - he was NOT concerned and called it benign. His track record is amazing, so I'm not doubting him at all. But, I didn't have the tingle/sting that lasts for a split second in my back to ask him about it.
I've had hip bursitis - confirmed and I've had lumbar facet syndrome confirmed. My lower back has been less painful which I attribute to physical therapy targeting core strength.
Anyone have this type of pain? A friend suggested fibromyalgia but I have no diagnosis of this.

Almost sounds like nerve involvement.
Just guessing but I've had odd things happen with RA.
Curious though.
Perhaps asking your next appointment.

I know some docs don't think fibromyalgia is real but the neurologist said it might be what I have but since I'm under care of liver doc - not much they can do til I get the green light
