I have heard that shingles can be really bad, and cause lifelong pain.
I ended up getting shingles two weeks ago, a week before my monthly infusion. The rash spread all around my shoulder fast but didn't hurt like others explained. Now the rash is more pink and the pain is more frequent. I missed my infusion and now my body is sore and tired, which does not help my stress level. I still have my assignments and presentations due and was suppose to go to Vegas dec 5. I am worried my pain will continue to get worse. My nurse says I cannot get my infusion until my rash is complete gone :(.

My prayers are with you. Mom got a terrible case during chemo... But I won't go into how long she dealt with nerve pain afterwards.
The lyrica will really help with pain and I think I took it for a full month.
