Does anyone else have these issues? My shaking hands are constant legs come & go. I drop things constantly! Is this just my ra or something else I should get checked? I have a hard time even signing my name now it's very frustrating! I've also noticed I'm very clumsy now always bumping into doors etc. Any input would be appreciated!

I often drop things but that is because my hands are seriously deformed from RA. Shaking, no. COULD be tremors. I would have it checked.

I drop things all the time, mostly because I think I can grasp stronger than what I can. Prednisone can cause shaking, but seems like yours is a little more than that.

I would get it checked out. I don't know how bad this stuff gets but it doesn't sound right.

i have crappy grip strength - really if I don't want it to break - i have to slide it in a bag up onto my forearm. my hands and wrists suck. but I am used to that. I have had broken bones in my hand from shaking water out of a cooking bowl. i am pretty much confectionery sugar in there. but your shaky thing? I have no idea. maybe your primary care could cover this one - in case it's some kind of neurological thing. I don't do dr. google so I am not going to often a useless opinion :)

Thanks everyone! I'll ask my pcp when I see her again. She'll probably refer to a neurologist like you said. I'm not terribly concerned but it is annoying. I hate having to buy new stuff all the time lol. Not to mention I look abused from the clumsy aspect of it!

I hold all shopping bags on my ARMS not in my hands! It is not advisable to do that even if your hands are in good shape. I am VERY careful lifting hot casseroles etc. because I am so prone to dropping things!

Shaking is not an RA symptom to my knowledge, but I can think of a number of neurological issues it could be.

As for dropping things, grip strength is an issue, to say nothing of deformties. I have been working really hard on increasing my hand strength, and lately I notice I am not dropping stuff as much. But I could not be doing that if my meds were not working.

I hope you get an answer as to what the tremors are, and it is not serious!

I literally thought I may have wrote this post. You're not alone!! I used to be so good with my hands. Now I drop things, difficult to write, can't open jars or grip door handles without several tries.
It's frustrating. I do get shakes sometimes but that may be due to my inhaler I use for Asthma.
Not alone my friend. :/
