Hi, and Happy New Year to all of you. I've been gone for a minute moving to a new home etc. However, I've been on a nonstop run since maybe Thanksgiving and I think I'm paying for it. I just read a post regarding foot pain and I can so relate. My left ankle flared on me last week and I have yet to get it under control. In fact my entire ankle is swollen along with the bottom half of that leg. I'm wondering if I have some type of infection or if the meds are causing it. My rheumy wants to see me tomorrow to take a look at the problem. Whatever is going on has thrown my entire lower half out of wack as I can barely walk on the ankle. Not to mention the coritsone shot has worn off of my knees and they're starting to hurt too. My poor Mom is all worried now because she saw me with my cane and walking slow again. I'm worried about the swelling because a bruise appeared on the same leg. I'm worried but praying that the rheumy gets this all under control again. I get so depressed when I have a setback like this.
