Just saw you are still really sick. I tacked on a message after suddenly remembering FUNGAL infections....
What RA drugs are you on? You need to get a prescription for an antifungal drug or get tested. I remember my doctor and the Enbrel packet saying that doctors MUST tests for fungal infections when they test for bacteria...and the time delay in treating can be really serious!
Please call doctor for an antifungal if you are not better. Or go to the ER and get tested for it.
There are references for this danger all over...and while it probably isn't it - I just had to scream at the top of my lungs to you...

It really seems like you need blood work done and you need to get checked for fungal infection.

I'm actually due for bloodwork as we speak.
Yes I've been off treatment for better part of a year.
Just started Orencia before this hit.
I'm taking it day by day here. Afraid to say this buttttt feeling a little better this morning. Strangest thing I've ever had. Feel like I'm getting better only to wake up reminded I'm sick. Pluerisy is still hanging on but did not expect that to clear up quick.
I'll be saving this & keeping the fungal infection info in mind.

Other doctors are not always aware of all the nastys from this disease & treatments. I'll for sure be shaing what you've passed on.
This slow recovery is getting to me. Yet I'm trying hard to be grateful I'm not worse off. Very bizarre illness.
