I did something today I thought I was beyond doing..my daughter took me with her to get a manicure and a hot stone pedicure. I was worried about the pain in my hands and feet and the slight deformities but the lady that was assigned to me was so very sweet and patient and when I couldn't hold the posture she needed (due to pain) she would just smile sweetly and wait for me to adjust. I had luckily remembered to use pain meds an hour before we went and that really helped also. They brought us a drink (I had a soda) and the massage chair was amazing. It was just such a change of pace. It's been a really rough time lately so this was such a wonderful experience. I'm in a lot of pain tonight but it was so worth it.

On down side we got caught in a horrible rain storm!! I was soaked up to my knees (had forgot my umbrella) and got pretty much drenched. Now tonight a seriously wicked ear-ache! I took some Mucinex-D and a pain pill. Hopefully it'll settle down.

Overall, however, a good day.
