So to add a new puzzle to the mix, i think i broke my docs brain recently. Which honestly lets face it we are all capable of that.
I had my usual blood work last week which is always fun but this time my liver functions are decent, not 100% great but the best they have been for a while. Only this time my blood glucose is off, you know the one that is more than a bedside finger stick. It was at 57, low is below 65. While not concerning to a non-diabetic, hypoglycemia is still not something a generally normal person wants either. Low is bad no matter what, just like high is bad.
So my rheumy calls me which is unusual unless something is off, in her office she assured me she would call if something was amiss which i love. So she asked me if i had been light headed or dizzy or such lately. I replied yes but i attributed that to stress and such. She reccomended i talk to my pcp.
Queue call to the pcp, my mom calls because i had used my only break on clinicals for a small bite to eat because i was dizzy again and then called my rheumy.
I told my mom i had eaten before i got the blood draw, i mean by 2 hours. I had lunch at 12, rootbeer float at 2 and then blood draw at 4. Which by all means my blood sugar should have been a little bit higher than normal.
So now my pcp is throwing out terms of diabetes, most lightly type 2 because I am overweight, but i dont think he can discount type 1 because of its autoimmune nature.
So thats fun. I also spent today in the ER because some lady decided to bath in purfume in the bathroom at the hospital and sent me into an attack. Awesome.

It seems to me, that it's always one step forward, two steps back with my health. Maybe you feel the same way.
It's like we are in a daily struggle for our lives with our health. In any event, I hope they get everything under control for you. Best of luck.
Are any of the other meds you are on capable of lowering blood sugar? If so it may just be a drug complication than can hopefully be addressed by a dosage change.
Let's hope its just a side effect and not a problem with your pancreas.
