The rheumy put me on relafen which I am going to pick up tomorrow. Anybody else on it and how are you all doing. I know Cinnamint is taking it too, and doing fine on it.

I am on it too. I have been on it off and on for over a year and it helps. The doc switched me to Refafen because it is easier on the stomach than the Naprosen I was taking. My daughter the Pharmacy Technician says it takes a week or two to load in your system and reach it's full potential.

thanks jilly. am onMtx also, I don't guess it will hurt. I was on celebrex before too but it cause me high blood pressure.

I have been on it for over 15 years. It has worked very well in connjuction with other meds. I have had no side effects except i can't be in the sun without sunscreen. i am taking the max dose of 1000mg twice per day (which is two tabs twice per day). No stomach probs like so many of the other NSAIDS. Good luck and keep us posted. DEB

So far I am doing great on Relafen. I have only been it for 4 days and already see 90% improvement. I measure my leg a couple of times a day to see the difference and it goes down about 1/2 inch every day. It's not where my left leg is but almost, so I am happy with that. Also so far no side effects. I am on 1000mg a day . One in am /pm.Also lots of rest. So thanks for everybodys input.

Hi Bigi!

I, too, have been on Relafen for about 15 years (1500 mg/day).

I have tried lots of NSAIDs, but Relafen has worked very well for me. No side effects at all.

I also have many intestinal problems, which is why my Doctor put me on Relafen - it is easier on the stomach.

In combination with the Relafen, I also take Plaquenil (DMARD).
