Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
There isnt a drug for it but keeping warm and wearing appropriate clothing helps a bit. She is a lot better in the summer but still gets milder outbreaks even then. You need to be careful as there are worse autoimmune diseases than RA which sometimes have the Raynaud's link too (my daughter recently diagnosed with one of these when her Raynaud fingers started to formed ulcers).
Keeping stress levels down also helps her and your RA medication may help you a bit even though it isnt prescribed for Raynauds per se. She wears possum fingerless gloves all winter, possum socks and lots of warm stuff for bedding.
I can see with the MS that your auto immune is at the nastier end of lives nasty presents and just hope you can keep stable.
I don't have Raynaurds, but was looking it up a little because my fingers were blueish one day and I freaked...but I don't think I have it, after reading about it.
Sorry to hear that you have it and are having such a hard time.
Good Luck!

My sister bought me some socks that are heat sensory and therefore keep you warm when cold and cool when hot and I have started wearing them already. They do certainly help a bit with the pain but not completely. The complication I was faced with last winter was blood clots forming in my toes which are rather serious. I am so hoping not to have them again this winter.
Oh the joys of autoimmune diseases!
I hope you will find something that helps you but for me it is just keeping as warm as I possibly can without over heating!
Blessings to you
