RA or not RA, that is the question?

OK, so I've been in, what they title as a FLARE, for a couple of weeks now. The whole nodules in the pads of feet and hands. Every joint in both hands and feet have tooth aches. Been to Dr and on prednisone to calm it. I didn't think I had experienced a flare quite like this and my husband said yes I had I just didn't know it had a title. Lol. Now to the question, my feet have what I discribe as a scalded feeling. I'm reclined in my chair with my very light weight blanket draped over my lap. I cannot take my feet touching each other? I remember feeling this back when I was first diagnosed. Does my description make sense to anyone and is it RA related?

Given I'm not a doctor, I can only tell you what I've read and what others who have described that scalding feeling have said. Sounds like Neuropathy, which can happen to people with RA, and it's very serious and should be discussed with your doctor to find out exactly what it is.

It sounds terrible and I'm sad you are going through this. I hope you get some answers soon.

Thank you journey. I wondered if it could be fibro related but I thought I had it together. I know one just upsets the other. It gets scarry not knowing what to ignore and just brush off. Never a dull moment.
