Well I found out that I have secondary Addison's as well as RA. My adrenal glands may have stopped working due to the long term steroid use (which is rare they say). I already have to find another endocronologist because the one I was referred to has the rudest office staff I've ever seen and the doctor didn't even return my call when I almost passed out due to such low blood pressure. I went ahead and took more Cortef (a different type of steroid hormone they put me on) and I have to get someone good who will work closely with my RA doc. I just know that I trust God and I could not get through this without knowing that He is, and will, take care of me! I'd been having a horrible flare in my hands the last 5 nights and last night was much better. I just wanted to cry but it hurt too bad to even do that. I just went to bed and prayed that the next day would be better. I hope you are are well and I appreciate this site and listening and understanding hearts!
