Well I'm sick and can't seem to shake it! But my husband and I had a realization that when ivget sick a lot my RA stays quiter when I don't get sick I'm flaring. I guess that makes sense but it sure stinks that its one or the other either way I feel crummy

I noticed the same thing. My theory is that your immune system is busy fighting real bad guys when you are sick, it can't do that and attack the "fake" ones too.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Is it a bad cold? When I get sick it triggers RA to act up and I am usually flat on my back.I have increased RA pain when I become ill. Get some good rest and feel better soon.

I have noticed that too, when I get sick the RA disappears. I always think of it as the immune system is otherwise occupied....ha ha, if only we could trick the immune system into thinking that at all times.

It seems like if the meds are working well enough to kick RA in the backside it leaves my immune system open to illness when the meds are not working got RA I don't catch everything. But yes it's a bad cold and bronchitis.
