Lots of luck,

Tina,
Have yours been erratic? Do you know your family's history with menopause?
The reason I ask is, my mom went from being every 29 days to the minute to skipping every few months. That lasted for 6 years.
Her twin sister went from every 31 days to every 90 days for four cycles, then every 6 months for a year, then the last one was 9 months between.
My mom is a type I diabetic and as soon as her cycle became irregular so did her blood sugar. Within 3 months her doctors put her on Premarin (at the same time the pharmaceutical companies were hit or miss with her insulin type, so the endocrinologist needed to be sure that it was the insulin causing the issues and not hormones).
My aunt used natural supplements (wild yam cream, etc.)
They don't know about their mom or grandmother. Their mom had a hysterectomy at 37 and their grandmother dies when their mom was 9.
Many doctors feel you can get a feel for how yours will be by looking at family history.
From the experiences I have read on other sites, pred can make your cycle go either way.
I keep hoping that MTX will push me in to early menopause. My mom and aunt didn't even start perimenopause until they were late 40's.
FWIW . . .:)
You could be pregnant, if I am not mistaken, that is a cause for missed periods, no?
