I am supposed to have my foot surg tomorrow and went for preop today and then got a call that my white count is real high. All I have is a little bit of allergies and have been using eye drops for arthritis related eye infection. So I'm very worried they won't do it!! And I'm desperate to start orencia. I did read that high doses of prednisone and inflammation can cause high white cells and I'm gonna do my best to tell them that I had a depo medrol shot on Friday and pred raised to 40 mg and I'm in a flare so there ya go. Everyone wish with me. Thanx.

best to you kim. Hope you are able to have the surgery. I know the sulfasalazine I am on can cause rise in white blood count so I have to have blood work every three months. In my prayers.
