Pain in upper thighs (back side)

Does anyone else get pain at the top of their thighs just under
their buns? Is this an RA symptom? This pain happens most of
the time when I am laying down trying to sleep. It can keep me awake
and I toss and turn all night.

I get pain in the hip joints - which I think is the area you are talking about. It hurts to lay on them even on a soft bed sometimes. It used to be awful getting comfortable until we got a soft mattress. That's the best decision we made. I also benefit from a small pillow between my knees or sometimes, ankles - anything to keep the hip on top from smooshing down.

I still turn all night long unless I've taken advil or something.

I assume my pain is RA, although it's not bad, just uncomfortable.

Is your pain right under you buns or is it higher up? Mine is right under my buns or the very top of my thighs. I also wondered about restless leg syndrome are you familiar with that?

Mine is at the top of my thighs but I feel the pain more on the front of my legs than the back. If I lay down and use the pillow it is immediate relief, although it still may not be a good position due to other areas hurting.

My husband has restless leg, and his calves hurt and ache more than anything. Not sure if it goes higher.
