If there is some way that you could face time/web cam your daughter when she is gone, it might make you feel better about her being gone. Two of our children have our grand kids, and it is so much fun to see their sweet little faces.
Oddly enough my BF just told me about a man who while on vacation after a dentist appointment came down with an infection, although they were in France.
He's now in a long term care facility as the infection went into the brain.
Poor soul never recovered.
I thought of you & how glad I am you caught it.
Considering the time frame your off treatment perhaps it may be worth looking into Pain Management. If it's an option for you.
Can't see you suffering through this. Although it's more a band aide at least you'll have some options for relief till you can gain some control.
As far as your daughter goes smart girl.
When mine went off that first yr I spent a few minutes alone in tears staring at her room while the family waited in the fully packed cars. I was letting my baby go. They'll always be our babes but they grow up.
We both did our share of crying that first yr.
It's an exciting time & boy you do realize they are grown up yet still need our support. More then I ever imagined.
Hope you get some relief soon. Mean time whine, scream or throw that tantrum.
Hugs,
Sammy
Congrats to your daughter! That's a wonderful accomplishment on her and YOUR part!
PS. I have a question for you - a couple years ago you had lots of twitching. Did it go away on its own? I've had an EMG/NCS and the twitching is benign but the night time "vibration" is making me crazy. Just wondering how you got rid of yours.
Maybe you can get back up to the mountains for a few weeks til you get cooler weather?
