Hi friends! I posted a few weeks back about some test results(blood work) they came back all wacked out , they did a ultrasound on my stomach area and found a large 3.45cm gallstone in my gallbladder which would explain stomach issues I have had. The test also said my liver functions were elevated, they did some more test on hepatitis a,b,and c one test came back Hepatitis A ,AB total... REACTIVE OUT OF RANGE, can anybody tell me whats this mean??? I am on ACTEMRA, Methtraxate. Please help if you can , I go in for a dr appt in the morning.. Thanks .. Marie

Have you ever had shots for preventing Hepatitus? Sorry I do not understand the science of al of this. Be sure to write out your list of questions:
what does this mean?
Why do you say that?
if I was your Mother how would you want her to be treated for this?
What are the side effects of this treatment?
What are the results that you predict form this treatment?
What risks exist from this procedure?
Good luck...I wish I could help you more. I was recently diagnosed with RA and just had a lip biopsy to see if I also have SS. as I have dry eyes and drymouth.
I have had a great deal of discomfort and I am just beginning to learn more about the challenges. Thanks for sharing.

I was reading on my humira med info yesterday, it said that, among other nasty things, it could activate hepatitis. Sending prayers your way!

i want to think i've heard that there is an autoimmune hepatitis. i would definitely write down all your questions. it's so hard when docs throw out weird stuff like that our brains go in a million different directions with a million different questions.

It sounds like first you have to tackle the gallstone. Suspect its presence throwing your body out of balance. I see you are on the gallstones DS site and they will have good info. Also look again at medications? Have never heard of hepatitis and RA drugs but a lot of them affect liver function and not sure where the line is between very abnormal liver resutls and a diagnosis of hepatitis as I thought the word itself meant something to do with liver irritation.

You have family and hope they are able to support you and keep the stress levels down while you tackle your issues one by one.
