Hi again people I just want to say I enjoy reading all the post everyday and I can really relate, people needing advice its great. Im single mom of three young adults the youngest born with spina bifida she is in her senior year and its so exciting. I know when my illness gets me down they can tell right away and they are here taking good care of me, I figure if my youngest can beat all odds and over 30 surgeries I can do anything. I just want everybody to know that Im so great full of having people like you in my life. Just remmber life is good even on bads days. Thanks for your help

My Friend's Son also has Spina Bifida. He is 26 now. I remember when he was 5 and had already numerous Surgeries. when I got a call from my Friend. She was histerically happy, because her son just took his first steps by himself. They had been told he'd never walk, well he showed them. We had the biggest Party for him then. He is doing fine now in College and working with his brother in a band.Just wanted to share that with you, and welcome.
having a good day is a matter of choice--you can let the pain get you down, or you can take it out, beat it with a stick and feel a whole lot better! (you'll still hurt, but you'll feel better!)
