I'm so happy! I got a great deal on a USED Pride Go-Chair - portable powered wheel chair.
I'm not confined to it... just need it for shopping, walking the dog, using it at work sometimes... not all the time just when my knees can't stand it anymore.
Its helping so much with my pain levels.... I have my independance back... no more only shopping at WALMART -cause they are the only ones with carts.
Its really great as its portable - breaks down into 4 parts (that I can actually lift) and i can take it anywhere. It doesn't have the range of a scooter but I don't need it for outdoor use!
I'm so happy.... then again kinda SAD that a wheelchair makes me so happy!
On perpetual waiting list here in Canada for a Knee Surgeon - I asked for the best so I guess I have to wait (someone who knows his stuff with RA).
