I am so pleased to have found this chatroom. I was diagnosed with RA about a year and 1/2 ago. Is there anyone out there who has been on Orencia for an extended period of time? I would like to know how people are doing after about 5 years on this medicine?

Thank you for your warm welcome! I do have lots of questions, but I will start with this one about Orencia. I am currently taking the weekly shots and feel good for about 1/2 the week and then start to get discouraged. Sometimes I think the shots are helping and sometimes I feel it is making my symptoms worse. Time will tell.

Omg I went to look in my journal to see how long I have been on orencia, I swear I was thinking 2 years. But I started 2-10-11. I am really shocked, time is going so fast.

Waaa where did Time go!!!

Orencia has saved my life. I do infusions. Took 6 months for it to kick in.
I am super happy. But.....how can I be a whole year off. =(
