Thanks
Popped advil, aleve and tylenol - limited relief. Sometimes ben gay rub disctracted me enough to fall asleep.
Rheumy totally agrees this was the onset. I'm sorry you are in pain.
i will take what you all said into consideration. I took myself to a pain doc years ago who did an MRI......I don't recall any info from him on that; but i know my xrays always are so bad, every doc , chriro and xray tech has asked if I had been in a bad car wreck.
WTH.
that pain doc wanted to inject my neck too, and I chickened out.
now am thinking of doing it. but after seeing what my new rheumie says on the 9th.
i think PT would help as when I have gotten a tiny little massage there it even helped .....wonder if it's muscle pain, related to the joint pain.
and i've had plenty of arthritis pain in my TMJ joint as well, actually that is better now that I learned some things about not using it.
(anything to relax your jaw helps, esp before bedtime)
in the latter,. it gives tips on adjusting the side mirrors of your car so you don't have to turn your body around to see what's coming.
something like, sitting in drivers seat, lean your head toward driver's window till it touches and adjust the mirror in that position so you can't see your car in the mirror....and for the passenger side mirror you are supposed to lean toward center of car and adjust the same- I think it is helpful though my little Honda makes any adjusting hard-
sorry 'bout my awful typing i am pecking and hunting at this point
