You should call your doctor. That is now way to live. They might have to change your meds. What are you taking?

Mtx 15 mg a week and humira injections every other week

I also get nausea and vomiting with flares. I think it is your bodies response to pain

Pain makes me nauseous. I too sometimes live off of ginger ale n crackers.

Methotrexate made me horribly nauseous.

You should check with your doctor/GP. My mom had nausea and vomiting quite randomly not long ago and it ended up being her gallbladder. She did have some pain on her right side under her ribs - but not bad enough that she thought it was anything. She's had it removed now and feels mucho bueno.

Probably has nothing to do with any of what your going through, but thought I'd mention it, hope I'm not offending.

Oh goodness, that is a horrid combination. Just the thought hurts like hades. Sure you folks get relief from that. Man, the convulsive nature of vomiting while the upper body, jaw, maybe lining of ribs inflamed...youch.

Holy Cow, I was just thinking about this today-have had a couple of
bouts of nausea and intestinal issues that could not be explained, they were with an increase in pain. Now I know.

Tramadol now cause that reaction in me. (And I pass out, which is no fun). So no more Tramadol for me.

You might be having a reaction to meds or a combination of meds. I agree that a check-in call to the doctor is warranted.

I get nausea too. Of course, the rheumy says its not related. He's wrong. It's usually mild to moderate and I haven't thrown up yet, but I have to force myself to eat so I can take my pills.

Your not alone, I have had nausea and felt like vomiting but haven't in quite a while, I think it's related no matter what doctors say. My dad lived with RA a hell of a lot longer than I have and at times he was like that too, he would get so sick, felt so helpless! Your body can only take so much and I think it is the result of too much discomfort, so with that being said I pray you find comfort, this disease is very unforgiving so stay on top and in control and I pray things get better for you.

Out of everyone doctors should understand yet so many look at you like you have 2 heads when you bring up those not so common nasty things that come with RA. I'll never understand, as if one patient complains you know others have. I wonder at times if patients become fearful of asking questions due to the treatment they receive from some doctors. We know by now good understanding Drs are rare.
I used to say I lived in a freak body. Meaning nothing normal about me. Always hard to diagnosis.

MTX made me sick in every way. Yet if the pain is nasty enough or to widespread I'll get sick also.
Living on crackers & ginger ale can't be good & will contribute in zapping what little energy you may have.
Sure worth giving the dr a call.
Miserable feeling. Really hope you find some relief & answers.
