Brapho-Necrolepsy - 'cause I'm sick to death of it already!

or

Stiffy's Disease - that will get them thinking!

or

J.A.G.'s Disorder - short for Joints Are Groaning

and lastly, because it's 3.13am, the joints really are groaning and I should be asleep -

Drunkduckitis - because I'll never walk the same again!

I like the J.A.G. name. I have a suggestion for a new RA dance. The Duckwalk. Dedicated to an old family friend whose wife had horrible arthritis years ago, and who sat in the car and beeped for her to cross the street faster because she was stopping traffic. How's that for a supportive spouse! And then he told my mother-in-law that his wife walked like a duck. So a few weeks ago when my feet were absolutely screaming, I told my husband I had perfected the dembouski duck walk! What do you all think?

i kind of have a similar name, but i am SURE that it would have been deleted from the thread and i might have had an email from admin. fcssobpos usless disease. That is about a close as i can get. You can use you imagination if you want, but you better make sure first.

I think we need to get the word arthritis out of it, my ortho doc called it a rhuematological disease - that seems to make more sense in my opinion

i was diagnosed with ra when i was 5 yrs old. at one point it was sooo bad and i moved soo slow my teacher asked me what was wrong and i said my dear friend artie had beaten me up.. she freaked out called my mom and when they realised i called my ra artie everyone had a good laugh.. well everyone but me *L* now i too just refer to it as some oddball vulgarity.. i need to figure out another name tho.. i dont want my toddler suddenly shouting that out in public. *LOL* perhaps i need to go back to artie
