I have done fish oil since 2000 and the only difference I have noticed is my scales are somewhat smaller (have to have some humor because today is not a good day for the 'ole guy)

I've noticed on the weeks of heavier fish consumption I have no soreness. I still tend to get minor soreness in bottom of feet and palms of hands even while in clinical remission. It's because I have too many documented minor food allergies to avoid them all.
So I'm trying to add more omega rich fish in diet. Anything to reduce systemic inflammation! I don't think you necessarily have to pop a supplement if you modify your diet to raise your natural intake levels.
But research has documented that raising your omega 3 levels can reduce inflammation.
