I'm one of the few people on here that are on alternative medicines only. You can buy acai berry supplements at the store. Sure, I would love to try the liquid but it's just too expensive for me at this time.
Your friend that recommends the product, is he selling it as well? How bad is his OA to begin with? I would just take all of these things in mind. Recommendations for what to try is a great way to go with alternative methods vs just taking someone's word for it online.
I'm on Serracor-Nk and Low Dose Naltrexone. For me, those two are the best and strongest things I've come across. But honestly, I have only tried monavie for a month. Any natural remedy should be tried for at least three months.
Elations from the grocery store works really well. I stopped drinking it however because of the asparatame. I'm afraid of that stuff, so I decided it wasn't worth the risk.
I hope that answered a few questions! Let us know how it goes!

Monavie was introduced to me by someone and then it turned into a whole sales thing. They were selling it and was hoping to build up clientele. If the person is selling it, and they get enough buyers then they get the product at a reduced cost themselves. They had the Monavie party and did the whole thing.
I know the acai berry has received a lot of attention as it is this super fruit.
I am not sure how effective it is on RA. I only tried one bottle, not long enough to notice any results.
I heard the testimonies of how Monavie has helped people.
I think it is something that you may have to find out for yourself, if you can afford it.
