Never ever thought I would be happy to get my period! (Brutal cramps and all!)
The bowel complication I had last year stopped my periods for 11 months.
Just finally got into see a gyno last month and did blood work 5 days before my period started up again. Hormone tests say not in menopause...ya no kidding.
Had my bowel surgery April 17 and after a month of healing my uterus decided to work again. So the surgeon had commented on how much inflamation she found, more than expected. So that inflammation stopped my periods. I had abcess pockets and two fistulas that I guess we're festering the entire time.
Gyno tried to tell me the ONLY reason periods stop is due to hormones....I just proved that entirely wrong! I wonder what she's gonna say when I see her?
Anyways... It tells me things are finally back to normal down there and likely safe to get back on biologic treatment! YEAH! Wasn't looking forward to hormones replacement therapy... Don't need it GOOD!

Some are open minded others have the god like complex.
Happy your happy. Can't stand the monthly visitor but not looking forward to changes either. Think for me it would kind of be likened to prednisone. In part anyway, hot flashes & mood swings.
