Ok y'all my knee replacement is scheduled now for tomorow at 10 am. Now I just have to get there healthy. I'm very nervous about the aftermath of this operation not so much the surgery itself. I know it's going to be such a hard recovery. Especially with my other knee being in horrible shape and my hips. It's going to make it that much harder but gotta fix one prob at a time. I know you will all be sending up prayers and wishing me well and I really appreciate all your support. Thanx in advance. Blessings to you all!!

Hi my friend Kimberley, my prayers are with you. You will be fine. As you know I had my RTKR in October last year. It takes time to heal and you will need your pain meds and your rest 51% has given you all the good advice that you need. I will send you a PM. The sooner you start PT which I started postop day the better. Every faciiity differs. Try to do your pain meds around the clock before the pain sets in. You will be sore. You may have staples. I had steri-strips that some came off and some the PT took off. Drink plenty as 51% fluids cranberry juice is perfect or cranapple which is not as tart as suggested even at home and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables so you will not be constipated. You know they like to see that BM before discharge. You will be fine. My prayers and blessings are with you. Take good care of yourself and keep us posted.

any advice on the neck scar, same thing that aquaphor stuff? can you get this at a walk in cvs or something like that? what about those scar patch things? any good?

I surely will keep you in prayer. I know how you feel. I'm having surgery in a few days and so I know the thoughts that tend to pop into one's mind at 2am. Maybe your recovery will surprise you. I hope so. : )
When I had ankle surgery recently, I'd heard all sorts of bad stories about recovery, but mine was extremely smooth, so ... you never know.
