Some of you may remember me mentioning a lump on my ankle.... well went to my doctor today for my regular check up and it is Achilles tendon bursitis. So she put me on an anti-inflammatory med, can't remember the name and haven't picked it up yet. Maybe this will help any other inflamed joints I have too? She said this is a chronic condition.... add another to the list... and that surgery would be the last straw if it got unbearable.
On a good note... blood pressure is really good, but thyroid # on the line and blood sugar on the line, watching both of those closely.

I am glad for you that you received a diagnosis for the lump on your ankle. your rheum prescribed an NSAID? Your GP diagnosed this since you are going to the Rheumie this Monday?
I am glad for you that your BP is really good. It is great when components of our regular health checks ups are really good :)

She knows all the other meds I am on.... it is really nice both doctors work under the same hospital... even though Rheumys office is 40 mins away. So she can see all his notes and he can see hers. In fact I had her order the blood work he normally orders... will have the results by the time I see him and will not have to be poked 2 times
