Hi, is been a while. Well hehe last time i came here i was put into MTX with the hope i would feel better, i did gain some movement, my arms straighten better aligned they where still weak. Like if i try to open a can i couldnt still do it. I started MTX on February 2012.
On Autumn MTX went in back order no pharmacy had it.. so they put me on Arava/Leflunomide everything was ok it didnt worked as much as MTX but i didnt had pain so ok. Till January the second week that my hair started to fall, it fall as much as one cup full of hair every time i washed my hair, right now i can see the skin of my head i still have 60% of my hair but im a female and im young and i cant wear a wig because insurance only pay it for cancer patients. What do you guys do with this problem if any of you have it? i was planning so many wonderful things like dying my hair new haircut you know myself improvements and now i have to cope with this. The worst thing is i stopped taking the medication for 2 weeks now and it wont stop falling.. is there a way to make it stop? Im grateful tho that at least i have those baby hairs xD reminds me of when i was a child at least those make me feel cute.

You should have been told to take it when you were prescribed the MTX - same applies to the Arava. You should be on extra calcium and Vit D as well.
