Is it always this difficult to get a Doctor established. I am in a really frustrating situation. I moved several months ago to a new state. I have been working on finding a new PCP. In the process I had one Dr do my blood work and it came back RA positive. I have been trying for a week to get an appt with a Rhumatologist. Every one I call wants to review my records before deciding if they want me for a patient. The big issue is a dr that has only seen me twice has put an incorrect diagnosis in my records that makes them not want to take me as a patient this is after he told me he didn't even believe in that disease. I am so irritated because I know it's not that because I dint even have symptoms of that particular disease.

Iam also having what I guess would be considered a flare. I have been trying to explain how I feel to the new PCP but he keeps brushing me off and never allows me to tell him what my issues are. I have been running a low grade fever for over 4 weeks my hands and feet are so stiff and ache all the time. I have really bad muscle spasms that travel all over my body my eyes feel hot and burn like when you have a fever. and I sound like someone walking on bubble wrap when I first start moving. I can honestly say my entire body hurts. I have been dealing with chronic pain for years and have meds for that but they are not helping this new pain. I guess I'm just frustrated scared and disappointed in the new norm for DRs. It seems like their laptop is the patient not you. This dr has spent more time looking at his laptop in my visits than me. He is the second Dr I have been to in this town and so far in my opinion they are duds. I really miss my Dr of 25 years who always listened to me.

Sorry for the rant but I really don't know what to do at this point. I'm waiting on a call from my old Drs office and hope they can help me get something resolved. Thanks for listening.
