Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
Feeling so crummy, add the feeling of guilt & lack of understanding & support it's just making it 10 times harder to deal with daily life.
Your not failing anyone. Your trying your best & with proper treatment you'll gain some quality. It's often a long process finding what will work & dealing with insurance. Very hard to think positive because of this.
Have faith & be your own advocate with your doctor.
Insurance is a bugger. So many including myself stuck in the nasty red tape. Although there is hope keep reminding yourself of that.
Your getting great feed back. Injections of MTX may work much better for you. Sooner or later if a another med is needed & you've exhausted the insurances demands you'll get what's needed.
Perhaps trying the injections.
As far as dizziness a big yes for me. Cannot figure it out. Comes & goes but it's awful.
I've dealt with the guilt. Still do only it's getting a wee bit better.
It's so hard not to feel it at times. You have to remind yourself you did not ask for this. It does not change the love you have for your family.
Once you get things under control you'll be able to do a little more.
Also finding things that you can do with the kids.
It's a learning journey. Don't beat yourself up. You matter & your the one dealing with life altering changes.
As hard as this can be to hear no one will care about you more then you.
Really hope you get the support & some understanding. Makes such a difference. Till this day my husband struggles with the changes.
So I turn to those who do get it. Use whatever you need like this wonderful group.
I truly hope you find & get what you need.
Gentle hugs & blessings.
Sammy

I understand all of this that u are saying. I'm so sorry that u are hurting and feeling so frustrated.
I am so thankful that mydaughter is grown and gone bc she resents this as it is... and she lives 1500 miles away.
I still feel like I cannot do what I need to as a wife, housekeeper, teacher, etc.
I was like you... doing great until about 2 months ago and then my meds are not doing the trick...
I have been very frustrated here lately as well... just sick of it all....
sometimes I am at "it is what it is"... but then after 3 days of being a zombie I start to get frustrated and angry.
thankfully we have each other and we will help each other get thru it.
take care. xo Sun
