Hey everyone I've been snooping off and on but haven't made any posts. My physical therapist says I'm doing very well for only bring out 4 weeks from my knee replacement but I have a touch of post surgical depression along with "narcotic brain" so I feel a bit defeated. I finally was able to have my orencia again ( had to put it off for surg) it's so hard some days to tell if it's working or not. I'm still on 10 mg of pred. Id like to get back down to my maintenance dose of 5 mayb soon. I'm gonna have to go back to the eye dr. Becuz I feel I may have an infection again in both eyes and my one eye won't stop twitching I mean really bad and I have pain in that eye that feels like it's stabbing aching pain. Why is it ALWAYS something. I hope you are all well blessings.

Hi Kimberly,
I have been wondering how you are doing, and am sooo glad you checked in with the group. Please tell us more details about how your recovery is going. Are you glad you had the replacement? Can you tell yet if it was worth going through the surgery? My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you as you progress. You have been through a lot.

Your doing great...just getting the surgery was so brave and good. Few months you will be so happy you got it done. You will have all the pain behind you. =)

My eyes always twitched and had that stabbing pain when i did the strong narcotics. As soon as I stopped taking them, it stopped.

I'm sorry, yes it does seem to be always something, especially when your battling one thing already. Healing takes time & I'm guessing a wee bit more with a disease like RA.
My nephews MIL had a knee replacement & is thrilled with the outcome.
She said no pain & it's worth loosing that bit of movement. Seems very pleased. I hope the same for you.
Be nice to have one less bothersome joint.
Eye sounds painful. That would be a bugger to deal with. I'm sorry your dealing with it at all.
Be well & take good care. Before long you'll be up & moving with more ease. Positive thinking here.

Watch your eyes, RA does bring on dry eyes which c an in turn cause all sorts of problems you sure don't want todeal with. Glad to hear from you again. Trish

Last year I battled an infection in both eyes for a very long time. Required antibiotic eye drops. Hope it's not that mayb just allergies. But it feels the same. I made an apt they can't see me till the 15th. I am on lyrica for the nerve pain in my knee mayb that is causing twitching in my eye.
