First, a giant THANK YOU to all of you for your kind words and support when I was feeling so bummed out yesterday! It meant more than you know!

Good news, today is a new day and I am feeling much better. This seems to be a trend for me with Actemra. I feel awful for 24-36 hours after the infusion and things kick in and I feel better!

Birdyone - Thanks for the words of encouragement. I do think Actemra is working as I have longer stretches of feeling good after each infusion so far. I am too stubborn to give up yet.

I am so glad you are feeling better MaryPop.

I had a break from the infusions for about 7 weeks as my Dr was trying to work out if I was having an allergy to it as I started to experience some infusion reactions. They now seem to have resolved after I had my last infusion with a hyrdo cortisone pre-med and running the infusions slowly. I had it about 3 days ago and am still experiencing some stiffness but today when I woke it it was less then the day before so I think I will get back to where I was before. I feel it might take a couple of treatments but I am feeling positive.

I can't tell you how life changing this medication has been for me, when I am well I don't even think about the RA.

Kee us posted on how you are going, but we just have to be patient sometimes. And I am sure your stubborness won't hurt either.
