2scic, the generalities of the articles are pretty accurate but not completely....in the article of the second link with the pic of herbs they say to eat the red pepper....that is a night shade and it will hurt RA folks.....same in another pic where they speak of almonds. In general it is a good direction, much better than most people's diets.

paprika is form the red pepper and is in so much of all pre-packaged food.

no night shades y'all, it works!

As a certified health coach, I can say all the food triggers in 2scicrazed's first article are in line with what I learned in school about foods that cause inflammation in our bodies... every one of them and nightshades, too. A lot of other folks than RA'ers suffer inflammation, people with IBS and Crohn's for example.

I, too, was surprised how many RA studies are going on in my area.
