I have NEVER done this before, so I am VERY excited!!
I booked a 2 ours reservation at a local spa for my mother and I to go out and get pampered for her birthday!!! We will be enjoying a 50min Hot Stone Pedicure, a 55min Hot stone Manicure and a 10min Chair massage.
I have had 1 pedicure/manicure in my entire life (and it wasn't the 50m one!) and that was only because of a work related conference at a local hotel which included a spa day.
It is VERY expensive, and I'm kind of feeling guilty about it, but I'm trying not to for a few reasons:
1) My husband is giving me most of the money to cover this outing as a birthday gift to my mother and an early Valentine's gift to me! :)
2) My mother NEVER gets this kind of pampering and she SOOOOO deserves it!!!!!
3) I never get this kind of pampering and I deserve it! Especially with all the RA pain and fatigue I have been dealing with this winter!
4) We NEVER (my mom & I) get to spend quality time like this together.
I'm still really stressed about spending so much $ on something that will only last 2 hours, but I'm trying to push that guilt deep, deep down! LOL
Hopefully this will be the start to an awesome annual mother/daughter relaxation tradition!
