i wish.
i ate a bunch of aleve this morning and i *think* it took the edge of my hand pain. everything else still hurts.
i also bought a cane. i'm not happy about it. but it was $20 and it's really hard for me to walk around like the mall or shop or whatever, so i figured i could try. i'm going to watch videos on using a cane properly so i can, you know. use it properly.
i'm thinking of coercing my hubby into going to the mall later tonight. i want to stop at my fave big girl store because i have a coupon. while we're out there, we can stop at my favorite sushi place.
for now, i'm off to the craft store to buy a bunch of cross stitch crap to see if i can find a new hobby that involves sitting on my tuchas wrapped in a heated blanket.

Glad the Aleve is helping. Watch your stomach with that one, though. Hope you tolerate it well. Next time, maybe you will have the cure.
i don't love taking aleve, or anything extra since i'm already taking so much stuff. plus i'm already having some kind of pains in the area of my liver and/or stomach (still waiting for results on that one). but i really wanted to know if it helps.
it helped, but i don't know if it helped enough that i'll want to keep taking it regularly.
just wonder about the lining that was brought up in a prior post.

beech, i got my most recent blood work back today and everything seems normal. next call will be to my gp to see what he wants to do re: pain in liver area.
havhope, i bought a basic nova adjustable cane for now; can adjust in 1" increments. if it seems to help, then i'm going to see about getting in with a physical therapist to be 'fitted' for one.
they asked me my height. then they had me stand and hold the cane so it could be adjusted to where my wrist meets the handle.
