I haven't been online for a couple of weeks due to work demands but wanted to update on my rheumatologist appt today.
I have Heirloom RA and she also diagnosed me with sjorngens syndrome. I am scheduled for hand, chest X-rays, more blood work. TB test and a Vectra test. All to be done tomorrow. Then we will discuss my treatment plan. She said some type of DMARD and will decide which type after my tests results are in.
I really liked her she is young and seems to be aggressive on getting me on some type of plan to prevent future joint damage as much as possible. I feel very fortunate to have found someone that seems to be knowledgable and willing to explain thing to me in detail.
Thanks to all of you for sharing. Going in with the knowledge I have obtained here has made me feel much better about this disease and what I need to do. I guess you are all now officially stuck with me.

like what heirloom? like your mom and grandmom handed it down to you or something?
i have sjorngens syndrome also - did you get the lovely spit pills? did you have the eyelid and nasal tests? there's another list on here for sjorngens syndrome but I'm always over here.
