humira and hypertension

has anyone on here that is taking humira shots, had any trouble with high blood pressure, my skyrocketed last week, and i have had trouble getting it down even with the extra 2 doses of bp pills, i have a family hx of high blood pressure, but it has always been easily controlled, but i was just wondering if it could be the humira, since that is the only new thing i have started.

After I started Humira my BP stabilized and I have dropped one of my BP meds. My Bp has been in the normal range since about a month after starting Humira. Prior my Bp was all over the place, good one day, high the next, all over the place, was frustrating the Dr's trying to find something that worked to corrrect it. I also take prednisone daily which had a negative impact on BP prior to Humira.

I don't doubt Humira did that. I tried Simponi last week and my bp shot out of the roof for three nights. Very scary. I wonder if all the "mabs" which is what Humira, Simponi end with (suffix of medical name).

A wise woman, 51 percent, told me one time. Look at the suffixes of the biologics. If they are the same as ones that you could not take, they may react the same.
