Hips and legs

Ok, I thought I had gone through all my Body parts with pain. I know some of you have pain in the Hips, but does any of that pain run down your legs int your feet. I have never had pain that way and I called my dr. today b/c I was in so much pain when I got up, well I thought I could get up. It just took longer. He told me to take some skellaxin which helped some. I didn't know I had joints in my calfes, ouch. It really feels more like Sciatica in my Hips and Muscle Pain in my legs, like I have worked out alot.

I get that pain in my calves sometimes too! Feels like a pulled muscle but I haven't done anything to provoke it. I never thought to tell my RD...

I have pain that runs down my right leg into my foot but for me it is nerve pain. It runs deep inside the leg so that I can't rub it or massage it away - I have scar tissue on the S1 nerve root ending due to previous surgery. But I also get cramps in my calves and thighs, and sometimes it feels like my legs are frozen in "mid cramp" and it hurts all day...anybody had that?

I also have pain in my hips when I walk more than 25 ft, so I'm not sure if it's OA or RA but it only started hurting me after I put on extra weight so I guess I'd need a xray to know for sure.

This has happened to me but in my arms. (elbow to wrist) It feels like a pulled tendon, stretched extremely taunt, and I have swelling & puffiness above the area. My Rhuemy said that tendons are connected & lay over joints.......when the joints are inflamed, whether there is pain or not......it can pull these tendons taunt which causes a lot of pain. When I get this in my arms.....the whole length of the tendon is stiff and puffy. Almost as if I tensioned up my arm & it froze that way. (sorry....hard to describe) Not sure if this is what is happening to you.

Mine sounds like JillyT's. I try to exercise, but my right Knee is so swollen that that hurts too. Just don't know what to do anymore. If I didn't have those two things wrong I' d feel pretty good.
