Does anyone have hip pain with their RA?

This feels like a dull, deep ache in both hips and has been there for weeks now. Just wondering if it's associated with the RA.

I have hip pain... and have for years it is like all my other joints the pain comes and goes...sometimes walking can be very painful but then some days I can walk with no pain.... but lately it is even bothering me most the night. I have OA and RA so not sure which might be causing it... or if both are.

I think mine is worse while sitting, so I'm not sure what that even means. I noticed it on our Family road trip this Summer and thought it was from sitting for too long. Now I notice it all the time.

Yes, it feels like I have a belt on with weights hanging from it that pull down on my hips....oweeeeeeeeeeee.

Hip pain is my nemesis !

I find the hip pain the hardest to deal with. It hurts to walk, sit or lay down. Like carrottop, I do have days with with less pain but lately it's a bugger.

Yes a lot of hip pain. Sometimes a hot bath helps,but only for a little while

Yep. Sometimes it's solved with a pillow between my knees on my side while sleeping.
And sitting, my bottom hurts if on a bleacher or hard seat. Like I have zilch for padding back there!

yup, i have pretty bad hip pain. sitting with my feet up, like on the couch, seems to alleviate the pain temporarily. but moving around has become pretty painful. i'm still trying to walk as much as i can but it's not helping :( i was hoping that moving more would help.

Is your pain in the front around groin area or over the outside? I have terrible hip pain that will put me in a wheelchair as quick as you can say Bobs your uncle. But from what I have gathers if it's in the front it's more than likely the hip joint and if it's over the side it's likely bursitis but both can stem from RA. I could be wrong. But that's what think. Feel better!!

Kimberley, my pain feels like it's in my hips...very deep... and sides of the butt...like upper. If that makes sense.
