Have good news to share

It seems like everytime I come here I usually rant or rave about my RA but now I have some good news. I started dating someone new who actally helps me alot with my RA. I turn 25 this year and its so hard to find someone who is around my age that is willing to deal with the RA. He came to see me the other day and he knows it takes me about two hours to get moving around and he actally stayed outside until I got around. In the 80 degree heat. I don't want to sound like i am bragging but I don't really have any friends i can share this with so i thought I would share this news here.

Fantastic! He sounds like a keeper! Does he have an older uncle or widower father? I'm in the market! LOL!

Wow, that is great!! Finding people who will even listen and understand RA is a challenge. My wife is such a blessing. I have no idea how I would cope without her. You might want to let him in out of the heat though :-) Glad you found someone and glad you shared. It is nice to hear something positive and good for all of us. God Bless, take care, Charlie

OMG THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!! talk about it all you want!! we don't care. It is nice to hear there are good picks out there. My son is 25 and he can find anyone nice. I am glad you found one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with charlie you might want to let him at least have a drink and even sit at the kitchen table or something. lol,lol,lol,lol keep us posted !!!

That is wonderful. It is always good to hear something nice, and this is about as good as it gets - right after they found a cure for RA. Tell him he has lots of fans now.

I have a 25 year old son and 21 year old daughter who find it hard to find someone kind to relate to. How much harder if you have to start off by fessing up to this disease. There are quite a few ratbags out there so happy you have found one of the decent ones. Wish you luck and of course whatever our ages we are your friends here. As our RA affects all aspects of our lives I think it is fine to relate non specific disease issues.

Aww that is so great to hear.
My boyfriend is very good to me and very understanding about the RA. I find it very difficult on days where I am especially sore and just need to let it out.
Super supportive. I'm also 25, and it's certainly nice to hear that you have a good guy there to support you too :)
