Saw my Dr today got my infusion. Yay! Still expect it to take a while to begin working. But he is going to refer me to an orthopedic surg for my knees and the CT scan I had done while in the hospital showed partial lung collapse so I'm gonna have to try to breathe deep use albuterol and NOT get sick or pneumonia would be quite likely. But I was relieved he didn't question my pain at all gave me a stronger pain med for night time so I will take a deep breath( literally ) and press on. Blessings.
good luck with your treatments. did they send you home with a nebulizer or the inhaler?
when you are sitting up do you have the spirometer at home? (The breathing exerciser plastic thingee-doee? if so 10 times an hour is all the good visiting nurse, respiratory therapist, and pulmonolgist lecture about! :) - I have one in the bedroom and one in the living room.
