Do any of you continue to take glucosamine supplements after diagnosis and being put on MTX or other med?

I have been taking Glucosamine for years and years. I used to find it help the osteodamage. Now, it is more a habit, although it still may be helping! I don't think it is for RA. It is suppose to stop more OA damage. Maybe I would be worse without it?

I was taking Cosamin ASU for about a month & didn't see or feel any difference. Now that I'm experiencing a flare I may start back up on it to see if I experience any relief.

I've been wanting to try this Thunder God Vine I was told about from my Rheumy but was feeling fine for so long I forgot about it.

I have RA and OA. I think the Glucosamine does nothing.

I'd been taking it for years before diagnosis for some joint pain plus Mom and Sis both have OA. My rheumatologist said don't bother. I'm just finishing what I have and was wondering whether to buy more.
