I hear ya - cold weather is not good for the 'ole guy. 1st two fingers on each hand (pointing finger and in your face finger) both nails are about 30 degrees off from where the rest are -- both hands twisting out - joints are tender to touch all the time - tried compression gloves to ease the nagging pain, but no relief so I just wear my wool fingerless gloves and keep those chemical hot packs around for when we are going somewhere - at home it's electric pad and fireplace
Sorry you are dealing with this "stuff" and yeas, I think cold weather plays a big part in our misery

i just saw 10 day weather forecast and its ridiculous. ITS COLD COLD COLD. OH NO. my knees are swollen and cant stand for more than 10 mns. i feel my 2nd,3rd,4th right toes turning and twisting. never felt this before.
hope this weather gets better and we all start feeling better again.
take care.
Come on spring!
My knuckles are huge. In fact most noticeable on my hands.
The same here I can feel it in individual fingers & toes.
Deep bone twisting, at times throbbing pain.
My toes will wake me up from sleep.
On prednisone or I'm sure it would be worse.
I don't think there is one pattern for RA in everyone.
I've heard some strange comments coming from doctors.
Worse yet I can't imagine the suffering from not being diagnosed because of exams done by doctors misconceptions.
Here's to feeling better.

Blue Dogs I hear you fireplace and electric pad. I have a heated mattress pad cover and a space heater in my room. 2 shirts on and right now a pair of leggin's. And drinking a hot cup of tea. Also taking my pain med as needed. I am also resting in bed. Helps to decrease the pain. Hope you are feeling better soon.
