Ive been fighing this since winter started.. been to pcp a few times, because it feels like something serious and I cough like crazy. I dont smoke but Ive had Broncitis before and it feels kinda like that. dr tells me just a bad cold...I thought the mtx was keeping my immune down even more than usual, so Ive gone 2 weeks without it and hoping it would help and still today I still have this cough and flu like symptoms. Im gonna get the shot of mtx tonight, since its not making a difference. anybody else having this problem ? its miserable and been in this flare off and on this season too. ugh...
Are you takinga biologic, too? MTX doesn't seem to make too much difference when I am feeling a bit under the weather, but I'm not too sure about the Humira I take. I have had an earache off and on and pain in my jaw. Not surewhat is causing it...if it is an ear issue or a tooth issue, or something else. It just showed back up again today. I am due for another Humira shot Tuesday, and I am going to take it, but I have a swollen, painful lymp node under my jaw at the moment. Hopefully it will go away soon. This is all such a guessing game re: balancing meds and possible illness. I guess if this doesn't go away, I will check with my PCP. Do you feel like you have a cold, or is it just a cough all by itself?
